Privacy
Privacy, in plain English
The short version
If you sign up, I get your email address and use it to send you the things you asked for. I don't sell it, rent it or share it with anyone to market to you. You can leave whenever you like.
What I collect
- Your email address, if you sign up for the yardage book.
- Basic, anonymous site analytics through Cloudflare Web Analytics: things like page views, which pages are popular, and which site or country a visit came from. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you.
Why
Your email address is used to send you Pete's Yardage Book, Pete's weekly email and the subscriber-only pages. The analytics just tell me which pages are useful, so I can make more of them.
Who handles it
- Kit (kit.com) is my email provider. It stores the subscriber list and sends the emails.
- Cloudflare (cloudflare.com) hosts this website and provides the analytics, so it processes the normal technical data every website visit involves.
Both act on my behalf and have their own privacy policies.
Your consent, and leaving
You only get emails if you sign up and confirm your address. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can also email [email protected] and I'll remove you, or delete your data if you ask.
No selling, no sharing
Your email address is never sold, rented or handed to anyone else for their marketing.
